 GAZT has Celebrated First Batch Graduation of Building Competences Program

GAZT held today first batch graduation ceremony of Building Competences Program, with the presence of His Excellency Governor of GAZT Eng. Suhail Abanimi and other GAZT officials.

The program is provided by GAZT Academy as it aims to develop the national competences in GAZT and raise the efficiency of performance in the field of zakat and tax.

His Excellency the Governor of GAZT opened the graduation ceremony of Building Competences Program with a speech in which he expressed his happiness with the program's rigorous standards, as program has resulted many qualification and training initiatives. He stressed on that the program main objective is to develop national competences in the specified fields.

On the occasion of lunching Auditing and Reviewing Program which is provided by GAZT Academy, His Excellency said: Throgh GAZT Academy, we seek to raise the capabilities and efficiency of our employees to achieve our objectives; aiming at supporting the progress that we are witnessing in GAZT. This is a key point in our long endeavor for human capital and competences; leading our vision and aspirations to reach the highest standards of quality work.

During the Building competences Program ceremony, the 75 graduates were given their certificates, and His Excellency the Governor praised them for their efforts during the program period which lasted for a year. The program, which began in November 2018, targeted newly graduated national competences aiming at training them in an environment that equip them with the proper knowledge and enable them to enter the labor market competition. The program has 6 paths which include: auditing and reviewing, operation, following and commitment, legal matters, risk analysis, taxpayers experience and quality. ​

For his part, Mohammed Hedejan Al-Harbi, Director General of Human Capital at the GAZT, stressed on the importance of investing in and developing the competencies to achieve GAZT objectives and vision, noting that GAZT is continuing its efforts to enhance its role in creating job opportunities and supporting national graduates' competences.

It is noteworthy that Building Competencies Program came from GAZT belief in the next generation in line with Saudi Arabia vision 2030 in creating opportunities of training and qualification for national graduates' competences.​
