The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority allows its users to use the Open Data through: “Open Data Library" and “Open Data Group"; where the "Open Data Library" include the Export and import data, and other general statistics on ports through a leading digital platform aimed at improving the global logistics arrangement of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, promoting innovation and knowledge transfer.

The "Open Data Group" displays links to the data group, which is accessible on the Authority's page in the National Open Data Portal and contains information on the Authority's performance in providing services, electronic portal data​ and other data related to the Authority's competencies.

This Open Data meets the interests of many different types of the beneficiaries, particularly those of logistics businesses, entrepreneurs, the general public, governmental organizations, and researchers.

These categories gain access to the information and data, as follows:

Logistics companies: Access to the performance indicators and data on volumes of imports and exports.

Entrepreneurs and the General Public: Check the sector level of imports and exports and obtain an overview of the statistics relating to the Authority's data

Government Entities: The ability to access industry-specific data

Researchers: Access to aggregated open data and download it in various formats
