Open data is data that individuals can use freely without technical, financial or legal restrictions and enable access to or use of it unless its nature requires non-disclosure or protection of its privacy and confidentiality, and the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority believes in the principle of transparency in sharing this data, for example but not limited to ( Encouraging comprehensive development and innovation, supporting scientific research, supporting decision-making) the electronic collaboration channels have also been activated to receive the open data  beneficiaries' requests via login in to Request Open Data.​
