 ZATCA Governor follow ups with Hajj season plan

H.E. Suhail bin Mohammed Abanmi, Governor of ZATCA conducted an inspection tour of the customs of both King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, and Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Medina to ensure that the ZATCA plan for the Hajj season 1443 H is being carried out as planned. His inspection tours covered the Hajj and Umrah terminals.

During his visit to King Abdulaziz International Airport, ZATCA Governor reviewed the customs services available to pilgrims, as well as the two terminals of “Makkah Route" which are designed to streamline the entire pilgrimage process for citizens of the countries participating in this initiative. To help with this initiative, ZATCA streamlines the customs process for pilgrims and their luggage by the application of cutting-edge security technology, in concert with the other entities taking part in this initiative.

ZATCA Governor toured the customs area at Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah to review the work progress, the level of service offered to visiting pilgrims and the level of readiness already in place to accommodate them.​

As the Hajj season approaches, Eng. Abanmi has urged all ZATCA employees to keep up their best work, achieving effective cooperation, ongoing coordination with all customs business associates, including government entities, in order to contribute to consolidate efforts, achieving integrative work, deploying all facilities to facilitate the customs procedures, and raising awareness of the significance of customs control, and achieving the highest success levels in implementing the plan to meet the directives of Saudi leader.
