  ZATCA Signs an Agreement to Operate a Bonded and Re-Export Warehouse for Al-Nahdi Medical Company

In the presence of His Excellency the Governor of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, Engineer Suhail bin Muhammad Abanmi, the ZATCA has signed a Cooperation Agreement with Al-Nahdi Medical Company, aimed at enhancing services, cooperation, coordination, and enabling logistics services in accordance with customs controls in the company's bonded and re-export warehouse in Jeddah.

The agreement was signed by the Vice Governor of Trade Facilitation & Customer Experience, Engineer Abdulrahman bin Suliman Althukair, and by the CEO of Al-Nahdi Company, His Excellency Engineer Yasser Joharji.

The agreement accomplishes the Authority's objectives of providing distinguished and high-quality customs services in bonded zones and warehouses, in recognition of its importance and role in achieving flexibility in customs procedures and facilitating cross-border trade, as well as its contribution to creating an attractive investment environment for the Kingdom, in order to improve the efficiency of the services provided, enhancing the effectiveness of these zones and increasing the competitiveness of the national economy.  

            It's worth mentioning that during the previous stage, the Authority took the initiative to focus on developing bonded and re-export zones in various ports. Recently, many cooperation agreements were signed with several companies to transform their areas and warehouses into bonded and re-export zones and warehouses, which would help the Kingdom achieve its Vision 2030, aiming to become a global platform for logistics services​
