H.E. the Governor of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, (ZATCA), Eng. Suhail bin Muhammad Abanmi, visited the Customs of King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Jeddah Islamic Port and the Customs of Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Medina to follow up on ZATCA's operational plan for Hajj season in such ports.
In his tour in King Abdulaziz International Airport and Jeddah Islamic Port (JIP), H.E. has looked into customs services provided, and customs operational procedures set to both facilitate Pilgrims journey and enhance customs control, utilizing the latest security technologies, in cooperation and coordination with the related parties.
In the Customs of Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Medina, H.E., the Governor, has looked into the workflow, the services provided and the existing preparations for the service and reception of the pilgrims in the airport and for ensuring providing the services for them in line with the wise leadership's directions and expectations.
H.E. has urged all ZATCA employees to continue their best efforts and to foster constructive cooperation and continuous coordination with all customs work partners from the related parties through combining efforts, integrating actions, and harnessing all available capabilities to streamline customs procedures while enhancing customs control and achieving the highest success rates in executing the Hajj plan.
