Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority was awarded, by The KPI Institute—a leading global institute specialized in institutional performance researches and consultations, the excellence award in performance management after receiving a high-evaluation result by being rated as “integrated" in the performance management evaluation project.
This evaluation indicates a high-level of maturity in ZATCA's performance management practices, and is one of the highest results achieved by a GCC member-state authority.
Evaluation axis included strategic planning, performance measurement, employees' performance management, performance culture, and performance improvement. The project relied on the evaluation based on deliverables and guidelines through identifying and evaluating applicable tools and procedures at ZTACA. It also relied on the surveys and interviews conducted with relevant stakeholders to discuss the evaluation aspects and verify evidence and output assessment.
Along its consistency with strategies throughout unites, departments, and individuals, KPIs are used as a systematic criteria for the evaluation of organizational businesses and functions. On the other hand, performance improvement depends on analyzing extensive data and successfully integrating between performance management system and work-place culture.
