The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has obtained the CIPD Middle East Award for the People Team of the Year, one of the most prestigious awards presented by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), with more than 130 local, Gulf and Arab entities and international organizations competing for it this year.
ZATCA received the award during the CIPD's annual awards ceremony held in Dubai for its efforts in enhancing the workplace environment, improving the employee experience, and raising job engagement.
CIPD noted that this year marked a record number of submissions with impressive quality to win its prestigious awards, which have been championing better work and working lives for over 100 years, with more than 160,000 members globally.
The recognition extends further a list of awards ZATCA obtained this year, including the National Award for Voluntary Work in the category of government entities from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and a certificate of recognition for institutional excellence at the 5-star level from the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM), in addition to being named one of the top three project management offices in the world for 2023 (World PMO of the Year) by the Global Project Management Institute (PMI) and the Top Contact Center for Best Outbound Campaign in the world at the annual World Contact Center Conference.
