Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) participated in the Sea Asia 2023 exhibition held in Singapore from 25-27 April, (5-7 Shawwal) organized by the Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF), specialized in marine industries and products and offer business opportunities in in maritime transport and shipping. The exhibition was held with the attendance and participation of many interested parties from different countries all over the world.
During its participation in the exhibition, ZATCA highlighted its customs services and trade facilitation services, including “Clearance Within Two Hours" initiative and the Program of the priority of (Authorized Economic Operator), which is one of the most prominent programs provided by ZATCA to the private sector. The program focuses on the concept of partnership between ZATCA and commercial enterprises, and enhances the security of the global supply chain, providing more benefits to facilitate trade. ZATCA's participation also included introducing the customs services it provides in the bonded zones and its contribution to providing an attractive investment environment for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
ZATCA participated in the exhibition in an effort to enhance communication with stakeholders in events, exhibitions and conferences specialized in the fields related to Zakat, tax and customs. This involvement facilitates knowledge exchange with counterparts from sisterly and friendly countries. Moreover, it emphasizes its role in enhancing the logistics sector in the Kingdom through the customs services it provides, and within its efforts to support everything that would achieve its vision to make the Kingdom a global logistics platform. This participation achieved several gains, most notably of which is enhancing the Kingdom's role in the global market by displaying and providing digital and technology services and solutions in customs work, in addition to identifying the most important challenges facing the logistics sector.

The exhibition serves as a hub for the latest innovations and services in this field. With approximately 15,000 international participants and over 400 exhibitors representing more than 70 countries worldwide, the event garners significant global attention.
