Today, Tuesday, August 3, 2021, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) and the General Directorate of Border Guard (GDBG) held a coordination meeting in the presence of His Excellency the Governor of ZATCA, Eng. Suhail bin Mohammed Abanmi, and His Excellency the Director General of GDBG, Major General Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shehri.

During the meeting, both parties discussed means of promoting cooperation and integration between ZATCA and GDBG to enhance joint work aimed at achieving the objectives and roles of the two sectors in protecting the Saudi borders.

His Excellency the Governor of ZATCA and His Excellency the Designated Director General of GDBG confirmed during the meeting that ZATCA and GDBG work according to a unified vision of protecting the security of the nation's borders and preserving its capabilities.

This meeting is within the framework of cooperation and coordination between ZATCA and the GDBG in order to achieve the integrative work and enhance the communication between the officials and specialists in the two sectors.​
