GAZT has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Al-Yamamah University; aiming at deepening and strengthening the strategic partnership and exploring ways of cooperation to develop joint programs and exchange support, expertise and information related to each side respective fields of competence.
The agreement was signed in the presence of His Excellency the Governor of GAZT Eng. Suhail bin Muhammad Abanmi, Professor Khalid bin Muhammad Al-Khudair, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Al-Yamamah University, and the President of the University, Prof. Hussam bin Mohammed Ramadan.
The Memorandum of Understanding includes strengthening aspects of joint cooperation between the two sides by providing specialized consultations for faculty members and graduate students at the university, in addition to cooperation in research and studies related to tax and zakat, organizing exhibitions, conferences, seminars and workshops. It also aims at enriching the knowledge regarding zakat and tax and its application in Saudi Arabia.
The Memorandum also includes training programs and courses by GAZT Academy, recruitment of distinctive graduates, and providing consultation to faculty members regarding the writing of books on the subject of zakat.
