  GAZT Receives Award of Excellence in Smart Electronic Applications in Government Sector

GAZT received the Award of Excellence in Smart Electronic Applications in Government Sector by the Middle East Excellence Awards Institute in its 25th session in conjunction with the conclusion of the Government and Smart Cities Conference in GCC in Dubai.

 GAZT received the Award following the implementation of several e-services for the business sector, such as the application of VAT and individuals optional Zakat "Zakati".

Chief Information Officer Mohammed AlHudayan stated: "We have introduced new electronic services for GAZT employees, including the system "Fahis", which receives reports of tax evasion and enables GAZT employees to perform their tasks and procedures in the field inspection on non-compliant enterprises. The system facilitates the process of assigning tasks and approving procedures leading to raise the quality of control, accelerate the procedures, and ease management, follow-up, and access to statistical reports.

GAZT has launched a number of media campaigns, the most recent of which is “Ma Yabilaha” campaign. GAZT focused on providing more than 59 smart e-services to enterprises in order to facilitate businesses and improve the quality and speed of the service provided to the enterprises to carry out all their Zakat and tax transactions.

GAZT is seeking to provide a package of e-services for enterprises in order to develop businesses and raise the customer experience to increase the compliance of enterprises to the Zakat and tax.​
