 e-Archive system launched by GAZT branch in Dammam

HE Saleh Al Hammad, Director of the Dammam branch of the General Authority of Zakat and Tax (GAZT), launched the e-Archive system at the branch on Sunday 12/04/1436 AH. Mr. Al Hammad inspected the work progress, team distribution and archiving mechanism, in presence of e-Archive Director Mr. Abdullah Al Humaidi.​

Mr. Al Humaidi, e-Archive Director, said that he is preparing for training by holding intensive workshops with the branch team led by Mr. Faisal Al Dhamen, Quality Controller Mr. Ramzi Al Imran and Computer Supervisor Mr. Waleed Al Khalifa. The workshops include a discussion on the method of application, team distribution and how work will be done after archiving as well as a complete action plan.

Mr. Al Humaidi contributed also to a training workshop in presence of the branch director and the teams that will sort out the hard copies on chronological basis. Along with this workshop, a comprehensive and detailed presentation was made covering the e-Archive system and how it is connected with the website as well as the way to enter documents into the system. The significance of quality control for any inputs to the e-Archive was underlined.

According to the action plan, e-Archive has been applied in some branch divisions (administrative communications, director's secretariat, certificate delivery section, administrative affairs, women department, reception and accounting section) and the work progress is good.

The quality and easy application of the e-Archive at Dammam branch came after learning from several experiences and the branch team was very cooperative, said Mr. Al Humaidi.   Branch Director Saleh Al Hammad said he was pleased to see the launch of e-Archive system at the branch. He considered this launch a paradigm shift and a new step forward in the area of e-transactions in GAZT, thanking the senior management and the documentation committee chairman for supporting acceleration of this launch.
