In line with Saudi Vision 2030, which emphasizes enhancing government governance and the directives of the Council of Ministers regarding internal audit units, this initiative has led to the creation of the ASHMT platform.

ASHMT is a non-profit, collaborative platform overseen by the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA), represented by Internal Audit. The platform leverages its capabilities to provide consulting services, workshops, and knowledge exchange in public sector internal audit practices.

1. The applicant must be a government or semi-government entity, or a non-profit organization.
2. ZATCA reserves the right to contact the entity to discuss any inquiries and obtain approval from the Internal Audit Manager of the entity seeking to benefit from ASHMT.
