Mr. Abdullah currently holds the position of Vice Governor for Operations at the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA). Since joining ZATCA in 2017, he has held numerous leadership roles and has been instrumental in the successful implementation of Value Added Tax (VAT) in the Kingdom. Additionally, Mr. Al-Sadhan serves as a member of various boards of directors and chairs or participates in several key committees.
With over 23 years of extensive experience in the service and consulting sectors, Mr. Al-Sadhan has held numerous leadership positions and spearheaded several strategic initiatives and high-impact projects. These include the launch of the e-disclosure system for listed companies and mutual funds on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul), overseeing and coordinating the listing process for new issuers, and contributing to the development of the Qawaem system, which facilitates the electronic submission of financial statements by entities. Additionally, Mr. Al-Sadhan played a key role in the establishment of the Bayan Credit Bureau. His career also includes serving as the Director of Planning and Performance at Saudi Telecom Company and as a consultant with the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants.
On the academic side, Mr. Al-Sadhan holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Accounting from King Saud University. Additionally, he has earned a diploma in Commercial Bank Credit from the Arab Academy for Management and Banking Sciences.
