Dr. Osamah bin Abdullah al-Muayyad is currently an Advisor and General Manager of policy at the Ministry of Investment, and al-Muayyad has held several positions in international and local organizations in the public and private sectors, including Deputy Superintendent of Research and Innovation at the Ministry of Education and Advisor to the Minister of Economy and Planning. He also served as a Foreign Relations Adviser to the United Nations World Food Programme and Manager of Systems at Procter and Gamble.
Al-Muayyad holds a bachelor's degree in information systems management from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), an MBA from Heriot-Watt University, a Master's degree in Public Affairs, and a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Political Economics from the University of Texas, Dallas, USA. He also holds a post-graduate degree in artificial intelligence and analysis of economic and demographic data degree and many internal and external training courses in different fields.
